One tip we ALWAYS recommend to our clients is that yes posting consistently is AWESOME, but if you’re not interacting with those followers and giving a persona to your account you are MISSING out.
Respond to comments, and not just with emojis. Give thought to your responses, the more time and effort you give will be returned and appreciated by the followers and they’ll give you more of an effort moving forward. You want to build a following that is responsive not just scrolling. 5 interactive followers are more valuable than 10 silent followers.
