Here are some tips to help you make the most out of your hashtags…
BE INTENTIONAL. Using things like #Love might not set you apart from the crowd. Considering as I’m writing this there are 2.1 billion posts using that hashtag on instagram…. You’re most likely NOT going to make it to the top of that hashtag. And that is exactly your goal. Find hashtags that your post could make it to the top of by tapping the hashtags and see what the numbers are on the top posts!
BE SPECIFIC. Look for hashtags that are specific and directly related to your post subject. If someone is following a hashtag… Odds are they’re ACTUALLY interested. Weird huh? Those are the folks you want looking at your content if it’s up their alley!
BE INTERACTIVE. Tap that hash and get to chatting. You’ll meet other creators and businesses that are directly related to your industry. Isn’t the internet beautiful?
